The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer, microwave and fridge. There is also free wifi throughout the house.
The Cathkin Estate is abundant with wildlife including blesbuck, reedbuck, eland, black wildebeest, mountain reedbuck, red hartebeest and zebra as well as a variety of birds.
