Kelda Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre

Kelda Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre – situated in the quiet suburb of Prestbury, Pietermaritzburg – opened its doors to patients on March 1st 2017. The 4-bedroom house is safe, secure and comfortable – providing patients with a homely atmosphere rather than a clinical setting. Large grounds – which offer peace and tranquility – present patients with the opportunity to relax and reflect in a serene setting, which is, in itself, of great therapeutic value.

Kelda uses the 12-step programme to guide patients through their recovery; this, in combination with individual psychotherapy and classes focusing on life skills and relapse prevention, ensures that all patients are – over the course of the structured programme – provided with the tools necessary to start living healthy and fulfilled lives, free from active addiction.
